Scottsdale, AZ - February 2, 2010: GolfLogix, a leading supplier of advanced GPS Solutions, announced today it has entered a broad sponsorship agreement that includes Golf Central and “Distance of the Day” programming with The Golf Channel for 2010. The campaign will feature GolfLogix’ popular Golf GPS Application for smart phones, including iPhones, Blackberry and HTC phones. GolfLogix golf application can be downloaded directly from the Company’s website (www.golflogix.com) or available in a convenient boxed gift set.

 

Pete Charleston, president of GolfLogix, said, “Our development team continues working on making our application available on all open GPS-enabled cell phones. We are not limiting ourselves to a particular service provider or brand.”

 

Competitive Edge manages GolfLogix TV and Print media campaign, and represented GolfLogix in the Golf Channel Sponsorship negotiations. GolfLogix, based in Scottsdale, AZ, holds a US Patent for its unique GPS and Internet-based round tracking application. As with all of its cell phone applications, GolfLogix offers a 24-hour free trial to allow golfers to download the application to their phones and try it for a round. After the 24-hour trial period, golfers are invited to become a GolfLogix community member for $39.95 per year. Membership includes access to more than 25,000+ golf course maps worldwide, a personalized statistic tracking website, distance information on every round, automatic score tracking, club data, accessory discounts, software and map data upgrades, and more.
