Competitive Edge to provide Media, Fulfillment and Retail Services for Songs For Soldiers CD Release

San Luis Obispo, CA -- April 8, 2010 – San Luis Obispo based Competitive Edge and Nashville based Carolina Blue Sky Records, LLC (“Carolina”) announced today that Competitive Edge will be managing the media placement, order fulfillment and online retail placement for Country Western Star Rockie Lynne’s new Music CD “Songs For Soldiers”. Due for full release Memorial Day Weekend, Songs for Soldiers is dedicated the brave men and woman of the armed forces. With each CD sold to the public, Carolina will be donating a Free CD to a member of the armed forces both here and overseas. Retail price is $19.95 for one or $29.95 for two. The TV Marketing Campaign will start in May, 2010.

Songs include all time favorites such as America The Beautiful, Battle Hymn of the Republic, God Bless America and Will the Circle Be Unbroken, along with stirring new songs written by Rockie Lynne like” Proud to be a Soldier”, “Heroes Come From Small Towns” and “Rockin’ in the Free World”.

Country Western Rockie Lynne, a veteran of the famed 82nd Airborne, was inspired to create this album after visiting the US Troops in the Middle East in late 2008. Rockie has supported the American military through numerous charity concerts and trips abroad.
